“Hi, I had an interview on May 22, 2024, which inspired me to create a website to showcase my passion for building a bridge between architecture and robotics. My progress is slow but steady. Let’s see what the future holds.”
“Hi, I updated this website on June 10, 2024. I have updated the project page with images and accompanying text. Today, I reviewed the websites Upen’s robotics site but didn’t find them particularly compelling, as they contain too much scattered information. However, I was drawn to Arash Adel’s website, where topics like RhinoCommon were revisited, which I am very interested in learning. The site also mentioned digital twins and XR. I plan to learn Unity to advance my knowledge in digital twins and human-robot interaction (HRI). When I was updating this website, I also reflected on my portfolio. I believe that to secure a job as an architectural designer, I must be open about my work, regardless of its imperfections. My learning journey is slow but consistent, and I remain optimistic about the future. I hope to make a meaningful contribution to the industry and the world.”
“Hi, I updated this website on June 14, 2024, and accomplished quite a bit. This update has proven more tiring than expected. Initially, I thought it might take just a day or two, but it turns out I either underestimated the energy required or the task was simply too ambitious. Last night and this morning, I managed to complete significant updates to the project page—it’s a major step forward. Today, I also finished structuring the Interests and Resources pages, marking another significant progression. I’ve made some progress on the Education page too. It still needs further updates, but I’m satisfied with it for now. I’ve also organized the Academic page and structured the Industry page.
I realize that the Funding page will require more of my time and effort, as I need to deepen my understanding of funding processes. I’ll need to hone my skills in funding seeking and application. Nonetheless, I’m proud of today’s achievements. Cheers to this progress! Let’s keep pushing forward!”
“Hi, I updated this website on June 18, 2024. I finalized the very first version and shared it with DART lab and my friends, morning, the day after. It was not an easy task, and I put significant effort into the Academic and Funding pages. I initially thought the Industry page would be easier, but I found that I know little about the robotics industry and have few connections on social media. The quickest way to learn about an industry is to talk with people in that field and get at least a biased perspective (a glance, LOL). I am satisfied with the layout, structure, and appearance of the website. To move forward, I need to check each link and add more details to the webpages, especially the biophilic seawall project. I really want to have very appealing photos for that project. For other pages, I plan to modify the main Interest and Resources pages to replace their default icons. There are a lot of details to work on. For now, I will leave this website for about a week to gain new perspectives. Good job! It’s been a long journey, and it’s time to take a rest.”
“Hi, I revisited this website on July 4th. I am very sad because I am trapped here with no job. I haven’t applied for any jobs or updated my portfolio in months. Today, I had to pay extra money for my EAD card. I am almost in tears. The image here shows my effort on urban data analysis with machine learning techniques.”
